Sy as an ICD Honorary Fellow, the Institute’s highest recognition, in celebration of his significant contributions to corporate governance, sustainability, and community development.

As Chairman of the Board of China Banking Corporation and Chairman of the Executive Committee of SM Prime, Mr. Sy has demonstrated committed leadership, guiding his companies to recognition in the ASEAN Corporate Governance Scorecard (ACGS) Golden Arrow Awards. His support for sustainable practices and education, notably through his role with National University, reflects his dedication to responsible corporate governance.
